In early 2010, when CEO Jacqueline Novogratz was in Kenya, a
production crew accompanied her as part of a new CNBC World program hosted by Warren Kimmel called What the
Future, which focuses on individuals and organizations who are, in the
show’s words, “creating the future, right now.”
The first episode – aptly named “Choice Not Charity” – features the work of Acumen Fund and of investees Jamii Bora and Ecotact.
