Aspen Ideas Festival

Entering its sixth year, the Aspen Ideas Festival is a conversation-packed exploration of some of the most important ideas and pressing issues we face. Presented by the Aspen Institute and The Atlantic magazine, the Festival strives to highlight the ideas of experts at the forefront of their fields and of leaders whose actions are changing the world. Divided into two overlapping four-day sessions, the Aspen Ideas Festival offers a substantial array of lectures, presentations, debates, and panel discussions by leading thinkers who span a vast range of critical topics, from the economy to the environment, from science to the arts, and from across ideological spectrums.

TED Global 2010

TEDGlobal 2010, held over the course of four days in Oxford, will explore the shocking undercurrent of good news just below the surface of today's troubling headlines -- new ideas, new science, new technology, new social and political thinking, new art and a new understanding of who we are. TEDGlobal will feature a fast-paced, highly curated four-day stage program featuring TED's famous 18-minute talks, plus music, comedy, tech demos, short talks, video interludes and other surprises, as well as pre-conference sessions and activities. SOCAP10 - Jacqueline Novogratz Headlines

Each year more than a thousand of the world’s leading social investors, philanthropists, entrepreneurs and thought-leaders amass at the intersection of money and meaning.  The Social Capital Markets (SOCAP) gathering is where social impact is measured, tangible partnerships are formed, and deals get done. SOCAP10 will offer two days of deep content dives followed by a third day of participant led sessions.
