Rik Vyverman
Business Development
Prior to joining Acumen Fund, Rik spent several years working with investors and entrepreneurs in Africa and Asia. He created and managed the SEAF Blue Waters Growth Fund, a private equity fund targeting SMEs in Vietnam; he also was instrumental in founding BIO (Belgian Investment Company for Developing Countries), where he ran the operations for a number of years. Rik also worked as an advisor to the Belgian Minister for Developing Countries and was a successful entrepreneur. Rik holds a Master Degree in Applied economics from the Free University of Brussels.
