Ramil Ibrahim
Fellows Associate
Ramil joined Acumen Fund in July 2010. As Fellows Associate, Ramil is responsible for supporting and in some instances managing global recruitment, curriculum administration, logistics, marketing, and fundraising for the Acumen Fund Fellows Program. Ramil graduated with honors from New York University (NYU) in May 2010 with a B.S. in Sociology and Music Education. Ramil has held internships at the Manhattan School of Music, DoSomething.org, and the Gulf Coast Fund for Community Renewal and Ecological Health at Rockefeller Philanthropy Advisors. While at NYU, Ramil served as an Advisory Board member of the NYU Alternative Breaks program, a Resident Assistant in the NYU Department of Residential Housing and Student Life, an active member of the NYU Program for Social Ventures, and was a Martin Luther King Scholar. Ramil is an avid volunteer and has worked with organizations doing reconstruction and teaching English in Chile, Peru, Italy, China and Southeast Asia, and throughout the Gulf Coast region.
