Michael Greenberg
Chief Financial Officer
As CFO for Acumen Fund, Michael Greenberg manages the finance team members and oversees the financial reporting and fiscal policies of the organization. Greenberg has extensive prior experience in the nonprofit financial management field; most recently as Finance Director for Environmental Defense Fund and as CFO for Human Rights First. Prior to his involvement with charitable organizations, Greenberg worked for a number of successful start-up internet companies and spent a seven year period in international reinsurance management with Swiss Re. Greenberg articled with the “big four” accounting/consulting firm KPMG and holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Saskatchewan, a Canadian Chartered Accountant designation and is a Florida inactive-licensed Certified Public Accountant.
