Maurice Nduranu
Portfolio Manager
Maurice is based in the East Africa office and is focused primarily on the development of investments in the agriculture and housing sectors across the region. He also supports the East Africa Director in managing investments across portfolios as well as in business development and operations.
Prior to Acumen, Maurice worked for a large pan-African investment bank where he oversaw investments in East African fixed income assets for institutional clients, mostly pension funds and one Central Bank. Prior to moving back home to East Africa, Maurice managed the Nevada operations of a niche consulting firm that structured public financing for the infrastructure needs of large real estate developments across the U.S. west and southwest.
Maurice holds a Master of Financial Engineering degree from U.C. Berkeley’s Haas School of Business as well as a BS in Business Administration (magna cum laude Finance, Real Estate, & Law) from Cal Poly Pomona. He was, at one point, a member of American Mensa.
