Christine Kapkusum-Mbae
Senior Associate, Portfolio
Christine Kapkusum-Mbae joined Acumen Fund on the Portfolio team in September 2010. Her focus is primarily on the health sector. Christine comes with over four years experience in corporate and project finance. Before joining, she headed the finance team of a project company within the IPS (K) Group. Prior to that, she provided management and technical support to companies within the IPS group where she handled assignments relating business valuations, business planning/budgeting, financial modeling, group financial reporting, due diligence, and transaction structuring. She holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from Kenyatta University and is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA-K). She is currently pursuing a post graduate degree in Business Administration (MBA) at the United States International University with a major in Finance.
