Biju Mohandas
Director
As East Africa Director, Biju Mohandas is responsible for all Africa related investments, operations and business development activities. Additionally, as part of the portfolio leadership team, he is jointly responsible for the global portfolio of Acumen Fund with special focus on our health investments. Prior to this role, he has managed Acumen fund’s investments in the health and water and sanitation portfolios in India and headed operations and finance functions of the India office. He has about a decade of experience in the health care sector which has ranged from clinical care and operations management to venture capital investments in early stage healthcare companies. Biju has an MBA from the Indian school of business specializing in analytical finance and strategic marketing and has also served in the Indian Army.
