Afshin Ghassmi
Portfolio Associate
Afshin Ghassmi joined the
Acumen Fund East Africa office as a Portfolio Associate in September 2010. His
primary focus is to build Acumen Fund’s portfolio in Tanzania across AF’s
priority sectors. Before joining the Acumen Fund, Afshin worked as Junior
Investment Manager for DEG (Deutsche Investitions- und Entwicklungsgesellschaft
mbH) in their East Africa regional office. He holds a Master of Science in
Economic Analysis from the University of Nottingham, United Kingdom.
